Blossom Hill Cottage

This thatched, two-bedroom cottage is the current home of solicitor Usha Gupta who bought it in 1994 after it stood empty for three years. Located just off the Borchester Road, this cottage is a perfect, stereotypical English cottage with its mature, climbing roses and hedges.
In 1971, Ralph and Lilian Bellamy bought it from Mike Daly and rented it to Lilian’s mother, Peggy Archer [nee Perkins]. However, things weren’t idyllic for Peggy living there: she was burgled and endured a house fire. She left the cottage upon marrying Jack Woolley in 1991.
